And I love this area. I live in Umberleigh with my young family and I’m fascinated by the future of what North Devon, Exmoor and West Somerset looks like, as we see, perhaps, the first reversal of the trend for urban migration in more than 200 years.

The South West is coming into its own as technology helps people live and work remotely, to relocate and ‘live the dream’.  It is an area that is proving ever more popular whilst remaining resilient to the dramatic changes encountered in recent years.  Along with this societal change comes a changing face of estate agency and, while some agents have been slow to adapt, my agency is all about the modern approach.

My career has seen me work with the UK’s largest estate agency group and, in more recent years, one of the largest firms in the region where I was residential manager at the South Molton Office.

Now, I’m crystallising that experience in combination with something new and my own values – hopefully striking the right balance between professional competence and personal service, using all the benefits of modern technology.

I recognise the importance of online presentation – as with many businesses, the internet is revolutionising estate agency – and I make it my mission to portray your property in its best possible light by using clear, high quality images, brochures and marketing to help capture the imagination of potential buyers.

The modern agent needs to be flexible to customer requirements and I am happy to arrange meetings at your convenience – either at your home, or at my office in East Street, South Molton.

In my view, the future is about balance. In this case, recognising the financial and personal significance of property market transactions while dealing with matters in a personal and approachable manner.
